Did you know that Ohio is one of only two remaining states to still not have state Health Education Standards? While many of Ohio's schools may be providing quality instruction, there is no guarantee. All other core subjects in Ohio have standards that provide a framework for quality instruction so, in this time of rising obesity, tobacco use and the many other health issues facing our children, why would we risk shortchanging their health education? House Bill 256 has been introduced to create standards for health education in Ohio. Let Ohio's decision-makers know you think our kids deserve the best health education we can provide!
