It is well documented that for every 10% increase in the prices of cigarettes, smoking among price-sensitive youth is reduced by 7% and overall consumption by 4%. Unfortunately, cigarettes companies continue to look for innovative ways to reduce the cost of tobacco products, gain customer loyalty and keep tobacco users hooked. Their latest effort?
