This year marks the 20th anniversary of Stroke Connection's publication by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. The Stroke Connection has been serving as a connecting point for stroke survivors and family caregivers to come together and share their experiences about life after stroke.
Stroke Connection is kicking off a yearlong celebration with the first in a series of four stories chronicling many of the advancements in stroke treatment, recovery and awareness since 1993.
