Last week was Congenital Heart Defect Week. It was also the week with an important announcement.
The Ohio Senate President announced his top 10 legislative priorities. The exciting news is that pulse oximetry screening for newborns made the list!
Senate Bill 4 has officially been introduced and refered to committee. We hope to have an announcement on hearings soon, along with a new alert. However, in the meantime, special thanks to everyone who responded to the co-sponsor alert. Your messages made a difference. Senate Bill 4 was introduced with 15 co-sponsors of the 33 members.
