Directions to Capitol (PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING PHOTO ID)
From I-64, you’ll take exit 53 (Frankfort/Lawrenceburg) and go toward Frankfort (north on 127).  You will go through a few stop lights and right turn onto 676 (the East-West Connector).  There should be a small sign pointing that way to the Capitol and a Wendy’s restaurant across the intersection on the left.  You’ll pass through a two more lights before coming to a flashing light.  Keep going straight.  At the next stop light, turn left (on 420 North).  Again, there should be a sign pointing the way to the Capitol.  You’ll go approximately 1 mile on this road until you come to the Capitol Parking Garage.  Turn left into the garage and go up the ramp.  You can park on any of the first 4 floors (actually numbered 6-3).  The upper levels are reserved for legislators.  Take the elevator to the ground level and walk across to the Capitol Annex.  Our meeting is in Capitol Annex Room 154.

In the unlikely event that the capitol garage is full, continue up the ramp to the top of the parking structure where there are also parking spaces.  If you exit the ground level parking lot, you may drive around the capitol (the road is one-way toward the right) where there is on-street parking on Capital Avenue and several side streets in front of the capitol building.  If you choose this option, you’ll need to enter the capitol and then go to the basement and walk through the tunnel to get to the Capitol Annex.

  • This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard and get to know your legislators!  We can only move forward on this issue if everyone speaks up.
