I am a two time heart attack survivor. The first one three years ago stopped my heart on three separate occasions on the way to the hospital. After my heart attack I received an emergency percutaneous coronary intervention within 69 minutes. Because of the treatment I received I survived and am leading a healthy, positive life. My three sons, family and friends have all indirectly benefitted from the work AHA does – funding life-saving research and promoting healthy lifestyles to prevent heart disease.
