Tell Congress: NIH is my priority

It's that time of year again. Right now Congress is determining priorities for the next budget and we need to make sure National Institutes of Health (NIH) research is on top of that list. Let our lawmakers know that NIH is your top priority today!

Our stroke advocates need your help!

On March 1st, 34You're the Cure advocates met with their legislators and urged them to support the Furthering Access to Stroke Telemedicine (FAST) Act. Even though they've returned home, there is still time to amplify their voice! Contact your member of Congress today!

Tell Congress the State of Heart Health

We made great strides in 2015 to improve the heart health of all Americans. But as 2016 begins, we need to remind our elected officials that there is more to do. Contact your legislators and let them know that passing heart healthy and stroke smart policies should be a top priority this year.

Tell the President: Protect our kids from tobacco

From 2013 to 2014, the use of e-cigarettes among youth tripled. Hookah use doubled. And high school boys now smoke cigars at the same rate as cigarettes. That is why we are asking the President to give the Food and Drug Administration authority over ALL tobacco products. Contact the President today!

Tell Congress: Kids Will Eat Healthier School Lunches

A recent study reveals that most elementary age students are accepting the healthier school meals required by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).  Help share this important news with your Members of Congress, as they make important decisions about the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

Let's Make Physical Education Part of Every Student's School Day!

Regular, quality Physical Education (PE) in schools is critical to the health and academic success of today's students.  With childhood obesity affecting one in three children, more needs to be done to increase physical activity where kids live, learn, and play.  Right now, Congress can help improve PE in our nation's schools by passing the Fitness Integrated with Teaching (FIT) Kids Act.  Send a quick message today to ask your legislators to step-up for FIT Kids!
