The American Heart Association is creating a generation of lifesavers by making sure students learn CPR before they graduate.

by John B. on Friday, June 7, 2013

Dr. Seth Lapuk, a Pediatric Cardiologist and the AHA Connecticut Board President, delivered 268 “CPR in Schools” letters of support, signed petitions and CPR cards to the State Board of Education office. Connecticut residents from though out the state showed their support for the lifesaving initiative.  The AHA is calling for State Board of Education to require CPR, with a psychomotor skill component, to be part of the standard the Health and Wellness curriculum all High School students must take before graduating.
