Governor signs House Bill 5394!

We have great news! On July 1st, Governor Pritzker signed House Bill 5394 which requires schools and school athletic facilities to have comprehensive cardiac emergency response plans. These plans will more than DOUBLE the chance of survival for the 2 million people in Illinois schools every day and will help students, teachers, support staff, families, and school visitors.

This wouldn’t have happened without advocates from across the state raising their voice and letting their elected officials know that this is a priority. Thank you for your advocacy in creating a healthier Illinois.
