This year’s Anthem Awards were especially competitive, with judges evaluating over 2,300 projects from 34 countries – making this recognition a true victory for tobacco control advocacy everywhere. Our project’s ability to stand out in such an impressive international field highlights the urgency of our message and the dedication of advocates like you. We want to give a special shout out to Eric Batch, National Vice President, Advocacy Outreach and Partnerships, for Executive Producing the project and to Los Angeles-based Spoken Word Artist Ryon Everidge for writing and performing the piece.
The Anthem Awards were launched in 2021 by the Webby Awards to spotlight impactful work driving positive social change. Backed by organizations such as the NAACP, Feeding America, and GLAAD, the awards celebrate people and initiatives that strive to make the world a healthier, more equitable place.
Thank you for your steadfast dedication to this mission. Together, we’re making waves—and this award is just the beginning! Let’s keep up the momentum!
